For 50 years, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has celebrated the best of interior design by transforming a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art, and technology.
Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury home in Manhattan into an elegant exhibition featuring fine furnishings, art, and technology. This event began in 1973 when dedicated supporters of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club launched the Decorator Show House to raise essential funds for after-school and enrichment programs for children in New York City. Over four decades, this initiative has evolved into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends worldwide.
In 2017, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House expanded to Palm Beach, with its eighth iteration completed in the winter of 2025.
The tremendous success of the Palm Beach Show House enabled Kips Bay to launch another Decorator Show House in Dallas, Texas, in the fall of 2020. This event became a unique experience in Texas and across the country, allowing Kips Bay to showcase a new region in extravagant style. The fifth annual Dallas Show House was completed this past fall of 2024.
